Dylan Dalen

Hi, I’m Dylan! I am a creative at heart with a deep love for adventure and connecting. I am a mother and a partner who loves her people fiercely and unconditionally. From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be a mom and to help people. I wanted to help people feel good, safe, and loved. These are feelings I chased for a long time whether I was seeking them from my family or a partner. I had this deep longing to feel loved, to feel seen, to feel safe. When I was 14years old I found my first yoga class where I was able to feel all of those things by being with myself and dedicating that hour all to me. Fast forward 3 years(2014) to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Ophelia. This is where everything changed. I felt as a young, single mom I had to work extra hard to feel accepted. I worked multiple jobs to provide for myself and my daughter which left me with little time to actually spend with her and little time spent taking care of myself. 2017 was my most trying year. I hit a rock bottom that gratefully led me back to yoga. I picked myself up and signed up for my 200hr YTT. This was the first thing I had done for myself in a very long time. During this training, I fell head over heels for the practice and lineage. I loved every moment. I tell everyone I meet that yoga saved and brought me back to myself. This practice reminded me that I had everything I needed within to feel all those things I’ve longed for. Love, safety, and peace.  In this training I knew deep in my heart I was born to teach yoga. Yoga had brought hope, passion, and peace back into my life and as soon as I graduated from my training in 2018 I began teaching. I taught at a local studio where I met so many amazing humans, grew tremendously, and created a career that I LOVE. Through this practice my wish is to help others find their way back to themselves, to guide and share the light that is yoga and help you create a practice that can transform your life!

My favorite things in the world are spending time with my daughter, creating, swimming, or playing outside, and sharing the practice of yoga. Seeing the energy shift in my students after class is what lights me up inside and I feel so honored to be their guide.
